Supporting People Through the Human–Dog Partnership
Dogs can play an important role in supporting individuals and families experiencing a wide range of challenges.
Our partnership supports training and education related to individuals, including:
First Responders
Mental Health & Operational Stress
Veterans
Medical Support

Supporting first responders and their families through appropriately trained dogs, handler education, resiliency-focused programming, and specialized support where appropriate.
Recognizing the important role that appropriately trained dogs may play within broader wellness and support plans for individuals experiencing mental-health or operational-stress-related challenges.
Supporting veterans seeking increased independence, connection, routine, mobility assistance, or other benefits associated with an appropriately trained service or support dog.
Supporting individuals whose disabilities or medical circumstances may require assistance from a properly trained service dog, while recognizing that each person's needs and eligibility requirements are unique.
Mobility Assistance

Training dogs to provide appropriate assistance with mobility-related tasks where suitable, including assistance with everyday activities and increased independence.
Puppy Foundations

Our Puppy Foundations classes build the essential building blocks for a well-behaved service dog. We focus on socialization, basic manners, and building a strong, trusting bond between you and your puppy through positive reinforcement
Autism & Neurodivergence

Supporting individuals with autism and other forms of neurodivergence through individualized dog-and-handler training, with an emphasis on safety, communication, routine, independence, and meaningful participation in daily life.
More Than Dog Training

A service dog is only one half of the partnership. The handler is the other half.
Our collaborative approach places equal importance on developing the human side of the team. The objective is not simply a dog that performs tasks. The objective is a capable, safe, reliable and resilient team.
Similar Disability & Support Needs

Our approach recognizes that every person and every dog is different. Training is therefore individualized according to the person's functional needs, the dog's abilities and temperament, the intended role of the team, and applicable requirements.
Foundational Class
Foundational obedience
Public-access foundations
Task-specific training
Where appropriate, dogs may be trained for individualized disability-related tasks based on the handler's functional needs and the dog's demonstrated abilities.Training plans are individualized rather than based on a one-size-fits-all model.
Therapy Dog Training

Therapy dogs have a different role from service dogs, and our training recognizes that distinction. Therapy dog teams may work with their handlers in appropriate settings such as community programs, supportive environments, facilities, organizations, or other approved settings.
The goal is to develop teams capable of providing positive human–animal interactions while maintaining appropriate safety and professional standards.
The Foundation of Every Team
Whether a dog ultimately becomes a service dog, therapy dog, working dog, or simply a well-mannered companion, obedience provides the foundation for effective communication.
Our partnership promotes progressive training that develops:
Communication → Reliability → Confidence → Teamwork → Resiliency
Strong obedience helps dogs understand what is expected of them and helps handlers communicate clearly and consistently.
